Empowering Education in Davao del Sur

A meaningful milestone was recently achieved at Maliit Elementary School in Hagonoy District I, Davao del Sur, as a donation project was formally turned over to the school community. The initiative was made possible through the collaborative efforts of M Lhuillier, OPEC Apo Duwaling, and the ML Cares Foundation, organizations that continue to demonstrate a strong commitment to supporting education and uplifting communities.

The turnover marked an important step in enhancing the learning environment for both students and educators. Through the generosity of the partner organizations, the school received essential resources aimed at improving classroom conditions and strengthening the delivery of instruction.

Among the donated items were 100 monoblock chairs, two 43-inch television sets, one computer set with a printer, and various school supplies. These resources are expected to benefit approximately 140 students, along with their teachers, by providing better access to learning tools and creating a more conducive space for education.

The ceremony was attended by school officials, teachers, donors, and stakeholders, all of whom expressed their sincere appreciation for the support. The school administration shared that these contributions will help address daily classroom challenges and enable more engaging and effective teaching.

This initiative reflects the continued dedication of the organizations involved in promoting education and community development. It also highlights the value of strong partnerships between private institutions and public schools in creating better opportunities for students.
