Feeding Hope, Shaping Futures

M Lhuillier OPEC Sandugo Bohol Region, in partnership with ML Cares Foundation, successfully conducted an outreach initiative at Busalian Elementary School under the Adopt-a-School Program. Carried out with the theme “Bright Minds Feeding Activity – Nourishment for Brighter Futures,” the activity benefited a total of 320 students and underscored the organization’s commitment to supporting education in underserved communities.

Reaching Busalian Island required the team to travel by boat, a testament to their dedication to extending educational assistance to remote areas. Upon arrival, they were warmly welcomed by the school’s teachers and students, setting a festive and heartwarming tone for the day’s activities.

The program commenced with a short ceremony highlighted by an energetic dance presentation performed by the students. This was followed by the handover of various donations to enhance the school’s learning environment and support students’ academic needs. These included a computer set, an M Lhuillier tent, ML school bags, notebooks, and ballpens.

A feeding activity was also conducted, providing nourishment and bringing joy to the students. The event was led by Regional Manager Ian Almine, together with OPEC President Nolie Fudalan, OPEC officers, School Head Sir Sixto Gracia Jr., and the dedicated teachers of Busalian Elementary School.

The students and faculty expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the support and generosity they received. This meaningful initiative reflects M Lhuillier OPEC Sandugo Bohol Region’s strong commitment to corporate social responsibility, as they continue to uplift communities and support education.
