Kusina ni M's Gift to Learners
Kusina ni M's Gift to Learners

Education isn’t just about books or classrooms — it’s about shaping lives, nurturing values, and empowering communities. This is the heart behind OPEC Batangan’s initiative, Kusina ni M, a program that blends the power of learning with the essential gift of nourishment.
In four locations across Southwestern Luzon, young learners were treated not just to warm meals but to warm moments of care and connection. From Tanauan City to Lipa, each stop became a space where children were reminded that they matter — not just as students, but as growing individuals whose health and knowledge are equally important.
Led by OPEC President Charity Baet and a passionate team of officers, area managers, and teachers, these events were more than outreach efforts. They were acts of presence — showing up for children who need both encouragement and energy to thrive. Simple lessons were shared, healthy meals were served, and smiles were exchanged — all in the spirit of building a stronger, smarter, and healthier generation.
What makes Kusina ni M truly special is its understanding that education and nutrition go hand in hand. A well-fed child is a more focused learner; a child who feels seen and supported is more likely to succeed. This program doesn’t just fill plates — it fills hearts with hope and minds with curiosity.
In staying true to its mission as the “Tulay ng PaMLyang Pilipino,” M Lhuillier, through OPEC Batangan, continues to bridge gaps — not just in financial services, but in community care and development. Kusina ni M is a reminder that when we invest in children’s well-being, we invest in a better future for all.
