M Lhuillier Brings Hope and Support to Mulig Elementary
November 5, 2026
Every school has a story, and behind every classroom are teachers who work hard to give their students a better place to learn. At Mulig Elementary School, a simple request for assistance turned into a heartwarming moment filled with smiles, gratitude, and renewed hope. On October 12, 2026, M Lhuillier, through its OPEC Apo Duwaling Team, visited the school to officially turn over several educational and community support projects. What made the occasion truly special was not only the donations but also the teachers' happiness, who had patiently hoped for these improvements. For them, it was a beautiful reminder that even a simple request, when heard and supported, can bring meaningful change to a school community.
Behind this meaningful project was Ma’am Cristine Vales Gido, a dedicated teacher at Mulig Elementary School who took the initiative to write a request letter to M Lhuillier. Her simple act of reaching out came from a genuine desire to help improve the school environment for her fellow teachers and learners. Through the support of M Lhuillier, that request finally became a reality. The company officially turned over the “I LOVE MULIG ES” 3D Signage, School Road Blocks, a Computer Set with Printer, and School Supplies. Each donation serves a special purpose, from promoting school pride and improving road safety to helping teachers with their daily work and providing students with additional learning materials. More than the items themselves, these gifts carried a message that the needs of the school community matter and that their hopes for a better learning environment have not been forgotten.
The turnover ceremony became even more meaningful as school representatives and the M Lhuillier team came together to celebrate the occasion. Present during the activity were Ma. Lourdes Lemosinero, School Principal of Mulig Elementary School; Robert P. Achurra, Regional Manager; Jaide Palaña, OPEC Apo Duwaling President; and Area Managers RJ Tabugon and Dexter Magno, together with the team's coordinators and fellow OPEC officers. One of the most touching moments was seeing the joy and appreciation of the teachers as they received the long-awaited assistance. For a school community that had hoped for these improvements, the turnover was more than a simple ceremony. It was a moment of gratitude, knowing that someone had listened, cared, and taken action to help make their school a better place for children to learn and grow.
Through initiatives like this, M Lhuillier continues to show that caring for communities goes beyond providing financial services. It is also about listening to people's needs, extending a helping hand, and supporting those who work tirelessly to shape the future of young Filipinos. The project at Mulig Elementary School is a reminder that meaningful change does not always begin with something big. Sometimes, it starts with one teacher's request, a shared commitment to help, and people willing to make a difference. As M Lhuillier continues its community outreach efforts, it hopes to bring the same joy and support to more schools and communities across the country. Because every child deserves a place where they can learn with hope, every teacher deserves to feel supported, and every small act of kindness can help build a brighter tomorrow.
