Pangkabuhayang Handog ni ML: Empowering Lives Through Livelihood Initiatives

September 25, 2024

On August 16, 2024, M Lhuillier Cares Foundation, in collaboration with OPEC Kulintang, proudly launched a transformative livelihood project in Lower Paatan, Kabacan, North Cotabato. This initiative is specifically designed to empower beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), providing them with essential skills to foster economic independence.

The centerpiece of this initiative is the Doormat and Pot Holder Workshop, which aims to equip participants with practical skills in crafting everyday household items. This program transcends the traditional workshop format; it serves as a crucial pathway toward economic self-sufficiency for local families, enabling them to cultivate their talents and enhance their financial prospects.

Participants will engage in hands-on training that focuses on the creation of durable doormats and pot holders—items that blend functionality with creative expression. By exploring the intricacies of these crafts, beneficiaries will not only acquire valuable skills but also improve their marketability in both local and regional markets. This skill development is instrumental in providing sustainable livelihood opportunities, ultimately helping families achieve financial stability and self-reliance.

Moreover, this initiative reflects M Lhuillier’s unwavering commitment to community support. By investing in the skills and potential of individuals in need, the project underscores the organization's dedication to creating empowering and practical solutions that uplift lives. Through this collaborative effort, we are not just fostering skills; we are building a community and paving the way for a brighter, more sustainable future for all involved.
