MLhuillier OPEC Batangan, launched the “Padyak sa Pag-Angat” project in Roxas, Oriental Mindoro. This initiative supports local “padyak” drivers by providing them with tri-bikes they can own, enabling them to earn a more stable income for their families.

Many “padyak” drivers in Roxas work within a “boundary system,” renting tri-bikes and paying daily fees to owners, which limits their earnings. To address this, M Lhuillier OPEC Batangan donated three brand-new tri-bikes, complete with operating franchises, to selected beneficiaries: Mr. Darwin Paras, Mr. Winiefredo Quitorio, and Mr. Jatro Eustaquio. Now, with seven tri-bikes provided under the program, these drivers have the chance to own their vehicles and enhance their livelihoods.

The “Padyak sa Pag-Angat” project is a beacon of hope, helping “padyak” drivers break free from the boundary system and create a stable source of income. By owning their tri-bikes, these beneficiaries can better support their families and envision a brighter future.
