Road to Safety
August 29, 2025
As part of ongoing advocacy of M Lhuillier to prioritize the safety of children and promote responsible road use, M Lhuillier OPEC Sandugo successfully conducted the turnover of Road To Safety Roadblocks to several schools in the Bohol Region.
The schools that received the roadblocks include Calape Central Elementary School, Sta. Cruz Elementary School in Calape, San Vicente Elementary School in Maribojoc, Valencia Central Elementary School, Loon South Central Elementary School, Lourdes National High School in Panglao, Panglao Central Elementary School, Mabini Central Elementary School, and Bentig Calunasan Elementary School in Calape.
These roadblocks are intended to help school staff, traffic enforcers, and community safety volunteers manage the flow of vehicles during school hours. By placing them at key points near school zones, the initiative aims to reduce the risk of accidents, encourage careful driving, and ensure that students and pedestrians can move safely in and around school grounds.
The turnover activity also highlighted the strong partnership between M Lhuillier, local school administrators, LGUs, and the broader community. Everyone played a part in making the effort successful—united by a shared goal of keeping children safe on the road.
M Lhuillier extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported this initiative, recognizing that the safety of the children is a shared responsibility. Through these efforts, it reaffirm the commitment to fostering a culture of road safety, making sure every child can go to and from school without fear of road hazards.
