Stronger Schools Through Bayanihan

The spirit of bayanihan continues to shine through the “Bayanihan para sa Matatag na Paaralan,” a meaningful Brigada Eskwela initiative aimed at creating safer and more supportive learning environments for Filipino students. Driven by a shared commitment to education, this project brought together teachers, parents, and community stakeholders in a unified effort to uplift school facilities and improve the overall learning experience. With the strong collaboration of M Lhuillier, through OPEC Marizon, the first phase of the Brigada Eskwela Project was successfully turned over to 12 schools across the South Eastern Luzon Region.

More than just a series of repairs and renovations, the initiative stands as a powerful symbol of solidarity. It reflects what can be achieved when communities, institutions, and families work hand in hand, building not only classrooms, but also safe spaces where dreams are nurtured and futures are shaped.

The project reinforces the belief that education is a shared responsibility. By investing time, effort, and resources, every stakeholder plays a role in ensuring that learners are provided with environments where they can thrive, grow, and succeed.

Alongside the turnover activities, the initiative also served as an opportunity to introduce M Lhuillier’s products and services to the community. These included QCL offerings such as jewelry, home, and car loans with competitive interest rates, as well as insurance options designed to support families and learners. Health-related services like Dengue Rx were also presented to further promote the well-being of students and their families.

The success of the project was made possible through the presence and active support of Regional Manager Ricardo P. Rioflorido, together with area managers, the Regional Audit Manager, the OPEC Officer, and dedicated employees from the South Eastern Luzon Region who generously shared their time and effort to ensure a meaningful and successful turnover.

As initiatives like this continue, the commitment remains clear: to build stronger communities by empowering education, and to create learning environments that are not only functional but truly inspiring for every child.
