A Gift of Life

On the morning of June 10, 2026, a shared sense of compassion and purpose filled a conference room in Tagbilaran City as advocates of life and service came together in celebration of World Blood Donor Day. In this spirit of bayanihan, M Lhuillier, through ML Cares Foundation and OPEC Sandugo, partnered with the Philippine Red Cross – Bohol Chapter to bring to life a meaningful initiative titled “Dugo Ko, Buhay Mo: Blood Letting Activity.”

As early as 8:00 AM, volunteer donors from different walks of life gathered at the ML Tagbilaran 4, MLhuillier Building, united by one simple yet powerful purpose, to give a part of themselves so others may live. What followed was more than a medical activity; it was a shared moment of humanity, generosity, and service.

The blood donation drive was led by Dr. Vladimir Gerard L. Coe, MD, and Dr. Estrella P. Lim, MD, together with a dedicated team of medical professionals and technologists from the Philippine Red Cross Bohol Chapter. Ensuring the safety and comfort of each donor, the team worked tirelessly to make the experience both meaningful and reassuring for everyone who participated. 

Throughout the day, each donation symbolized hope for patients in need of blood transfusions, mothers, children, accident victims, and those battling serious illnesses. Every donor became a silent hero, contributing to a lifesaving cause that transcends borders, beliefs, and backgrounds. 

Through initiatives like this, M Lhuillier OPEC Sandugo reaffirms its commitment to public health, volunteerism, and community care. Every drop counts, and every donor becomes a lifesaver. Together, through simple yet selfless actions, we continue to make a lasting difference, one life at a time.
