M Lhuillier Plants Trees in Sariaya

M Lhuillier, together with OPEC MARIZON and community partners, came together for “Kalinisan at Kasaganahan sa Karagatan, si M ang Mag-aapaw,” a tree-planting initiative focused on promoting environmental protection and community involvement. Held in the municipality of Sariaya, Quezon, the activity brought together Barangay officials, students, Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) representatives, and other partners in a shared effort to help create a greener and more sustainable community.

The activity began with a program led by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), which provided participants with proper guidance on tree planting and environmental stewardship. More than simply planting seedlings, the event gave participants an opportunity to connect with one another through conversations, singing, dancing, and other activities. The gathering highlighted the importance of working together in protecting the environment and showed how community participation can turn a simple initiative into a meaningful experience.

As part of its participation, M Lhuillier also introduced its products and services to the participants and staff, including QCL services such as jewelry loans, home loans, and car loans, as well as insurance products designed to provide added protection for families and learners. Other services, including Dengue Rx, were also presented to help participants become more familiar with the different ways M Lhuillier can support their financial and everyday needs. The activity was further strengthened by the presence and support of Regional Manager Sir Ricardo P. Rioflorido, Area Managers, Regional Audit Manager Roberto Palines, OPEC officers, and dedicated SEL employees.

Through this tree-planting initiative, M Lhuillier and OPEC MARIZON reaffirmed that caring for the environment is a shared responsibility. Every seedling planted represents an opportunity to provide shade, protect soil, support biodiversity, and contribute to a healthier environment for future generations.
