New Pathway Brings Safer Passage to Ilasan Learners

The pathway at Ilasan Integrated School is now officially in use, giving hundreds of learners a safer and more convenient way to get to their classrooms each day. What may look like a simple structure serves an important purpose for the students who regularly pass through it. For them, it has become part of their daily routine, a path they take as they arrive at school, head to their classrooms, and continue with another day of learning.

Every morning, students walk through the pathway carrying their school bags, preparing for their lessons and spending another day with their teachers and classmates. The project provides more than a physical connection between different parts of the school. It also reflects the importance of creating a school environment where learners can move around safely and comfortably as they pursue their education.

The project was made possible through the collaboration of M Lhuillier and OPEC MARIZON, with the turnover activity bringing together representatives and employees who helped make the occasion possible. During the program, M Lhuillier also took the opportunity to introduce its products and services to the school staff, including QCL offerings such as jewelry loans, home loans, and car loans, as well as insurance, Dengue Rx, and other services. The activity allowed the team to connect with the institution beyond the project itself and share services that may be useful to its personnel.

The turnover was also attended by Regional Manager Sir Ricardo P. Rioflorido, together with the area managers, Regional Audit Manager Roberto Palines, the OPEC officer, and SEL employees who took the time to support the activity. As the pathway begins serving the learners of Ilasan Integrated School, the project stands as a simple but meaningful contribution to their everyday school experience, giving them a safer passage as they continue taking their daily steps toward learning and their future.
