No Child Shall Be Left Behind Feeding Program by M Lhuillier

Candelaria Elementary School, located in the mountainous barangay of Matag-ob, Leyte, serves as an educational haven for numerous pupils from low-income families. Recognizing the importance of their student's well-being, the dedicated teachers of the school took proactive measures by reaching out to M Lhuillier’s OPEC Leyte Movers and requesting support for a feeding program. On a significant day, January 23, 2024, the vigorous team of OPEC Leyte Movers visited Candelaria Elementary School to fulfill the requested feeding program for Grade 1-6 students. 

Under the guidance of the school's esteemed head, Ma'am Alma V. Pobadora, the teaching staff diligently prepared a short and engaging program for the occasion. The students eagerly showcased their talents through various dance performances, adding an element of joy and celebration to the event. Following the program, a delicious Jollibee meal, comprising fried chicken and spaghetti, was distributed to seventy-one (71) pupils, filling their hungry bellies. To their delight, a delightful ice cream treat also awaited them, creating smiles and laughter among the young participants. 

The event reached its culmination with the distribution of essential school supplies to the students, ensuring they have the tools they need for their educational journey. Additionally, a valuable contribution was made to Candelaria Elementary School's faculty in the form of a computer set, complete with a printer and speaker, empowering them to enhance the learning experience for their students.

Miss Alma Pobadora conveyed her heartfelt appreciation to M Lhuillier for the meaningful support and expressed optimism for future collaborations that will continue to uplift and empower the students of Candelaria Elementary School. The partnership between the school and M Lhuillier has not only nourished the physical well-being of the students but has also instilled a sense of community and encouragement within the school and its surrounding area. This inspiring initiative serves as a testament to the power of collaboration and the transformative impact it can have on the lives of young learners. This joint effort has made a difference, one meal, one smile, and one opportunity at a time.
