Cultivating Futures, Commitment to Education
The most valuable legacy our parents can pass on to us is education. M Lhuillier, a respected organization, embodies this belief by wholeheartedly supporting the education of children across the Philippines. The company is committed to nurturing young minds by providing essential resources that enhance learning opportunities. Through various initiatives, M Lhuillier ensures that students have access to the tools and support they need to thrive academically. By investing in education, M Lhuillier is not only shaping individual futures but also empowering communities to build a brighter tomorrow.
This commitment to education is vividly illustrated at Pasil- Jelicuon Elementary School, where a long-cherished dream has come to life with the unveiling of a new study nook and waiting area. Strategically located in the school’s front yard, this welcoming space promotes learning, reflection, and connection. Designed to benefit both students and their families, the study nook encourages educational engagement while providing a comfortable waiting area for parents. This milestone was made possible through the generosity and support of M Lhuillier, a company renowned for its industry excellence and unwavering commitment to community service and development.
In addition to enhancing learning spaces, M Lhuillier is also dedicated to ensuring the safety of students. After years of dedicated service, the school gate—an essential structure that has safeguarded countless students—needs to be replaced due to age and wear. This vital facility not only protects students from unauthorized individuals but also ensures their safety as they come and go. In a commendable effort to enhance school security, M Lhuillier’s OPEC MARIZON has initiated the project titled "Tarangkahan Para sa mga Kabataan, Si M ang Daan," benefiting hundreds of learners. This initiative aims to create a safer environment for students as they engage in both academic and extracurricular activities.
Continuing the theme of creating supportive environments, the Bravo Learning Corner has been designed as a multipurpose facility that will benefit not only students but also their parents, teachers, and school staff. This hub for learning, collaboration, and community engagement provides a conducive environment for study and personal development. This project was realized through the collective efforts of the school faculty, staff, and the cooperation of the Sangguniang Barangay of Bravo, all of whom worked hand in hand with M Lhuillier to bring this vision to life.
The completion of the new perimeter fence at Pablo Lorenzo National High School marks another significant milestone in enhancing student safety and security. This important project was made possible through the generous support of M Lhuillier's dedicated team, OPEC Apo Duwaling, whose commitment to community development has left a lasting impact in the area. Such initiatives reflect M Lhuillier's holistic approach to fostering a secure learning environment.
Furthermore, a year ago, a proposal to install a handwashing facility was approved for Bagong Buhay Elementary School in Barangay Bagong Buhay, Cabanatuan City. On May 10, 2024, M Lhuillier’s OPEC NEL Team unveiled the new handwashing area. Though it may seem simple, proper handwashing remains one of the most effective ways to remove germs and harmful bacteria. The facility promotes hygiene and health, reinforcing the importance of cleanliness among students.
In another transformative effort, Lucena East 1 Elementary School, home to over 2,000 vibrant young learners, recently received a life-changing gift: a brand new library, courtesy of M Lhuillier’s generous efforts. This facility is set to inspire a love for reading and learning among students, providing them with the resources they need to succeed academically.
On May 14, 2024, M Lhuillier, led by OPEC Batangan, handed over the "Pathway for Success" project to San Nicolas Integrated High School in Barangay Calangay, Batangas. This educational initiative addresses the school’s financial needs by constructing a covered pathway leading to the Senior High building, ensuring the safety and comfort of teachers, parents, and students alike.
Finally, through the "Project Kalinga: Adopt-a-School" program of OPEC Kalayaan, M Lhuillier has completely transformed Ternate West National High School San Juan Extension. A centerpiece of this endeavor is the creation of a state-of-the-art reading hub, a space that transcends the traditional library concept.
