It has been a tedious year since the Corona Virus has struck the entire world. After months of continuous battle and recovery against the pandemic, M Lhuillier has unceasingly dedicated themselves to generously extend help towards various sectors in the community.

From April 12 to June 03, 2021, M Lhuillier and OPEC Chapters La Lagoon, Panay Hugyaw, and Panay Lontian Gems have donated personal protective items such as alcohol, face mask, face shield, and ML towels to different barangays and sectors in society.

Starting with OPEC La Lagoon last April 12,  customised hygiene kits were given to 120 senior citizens during their second dose of vaccination against Covid-19 at the municipal court at Lumban, Laguna. The project was headed by OPEC La Lagoon President Marvin C. Bakilid and Regional Manager Menard A. Baranda. Simultaneously, OPL GEMS led by Area Manager Shiela Situbal with other OPEC officers and M Lhuillier employees in Antique also did the same distribution to 200 front liners from Angel Salazar Memorial General Hospital located in San Jose De Buenavista, Antique. A few days later [April 20], OPEC Panay Hugyaw also initiated the same activity for tricycle drivers and fresh produce vendors at Brgy. Poblacion and Brgy. Tabugon in Dingle, Iloilo. 

Lastly, OPEC Panay Lontian Gems did a second round of giving back gratitude to all the health frontliners of Don Modesto Formilleza Hospital at Punta Tabuc, Looc, Romblon. They donated assorted groceries, cleaning materials, face masks, and alcohol last June 1, 2021. Panay Lontian Gems officers were welcomed by the hospital head personnel Dr. Lenie G. Manayam and chief of hospital Ms. Perpetua M. Agustin.

It is truly heartwarming to see so many communities extending their heartfelt gratitude for the blessings received. M Lhuillier is beyond thankful for everyone’s efforts to stay safe and to cooperate for more recovery in this pandemic.
